Accessibility statement
Last updated: 1 October 2026
We want everyone to be able to use Landlord Deadlines and the UK Late Payment Calculator. This statement covers landlorddeadlines.co.uk and uk-late-payment-calculator.pages.dev, and the files we sell.
What we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. You should be able to:
- zoom to 400% without text spilling off the screen, and use the sites on a small phone
- use every tool and link with a keyboard alone
- use the tools with a screen reader: form fields have labels, and results are announced when they appear
- change colours, fonts and text size in your browser
- use the sites without cookies, pop-ups, sign-ups or CAPTCHAs
How accessible the sites are
We built the sites with plain HTML, labelled form fields and results that screen readers announce, but we have not yet carried out a full WCAG 2.2 audit. Until we have, we describe the sites as partially conformant.
Things we already know or suspect may fall short:
- Some small grey text, such as source notes and footers, may not have enough colour contrast.
- Wide tables, such as the regional deadline and interest-rate tables, may need sideways scrolling on small screens.
- Our downloadable files (Excel workbook, Word templates and PDF checklist) have not been checked with a screen reader. The workbook's red, amber and green statuses must not rely on colour alone, and we haven't yet confirmed that every sheet also shows the status in words.
We plan to audit the sites against WCAG 2.2 AA and fix what we find by 31 December 2026, then update this statement.
Tell us about a problem
If something on our sites or in our files is hard to use, or you need a page or product in a different format, email [email protected]. Tell us the page address and what went wrong. We'll reply within 5 working days. Where we can, we'll provide the information in another way, such as a plain-text or large-print version.
How we test
- automated checking tools
- keyboard-only use
- a screen reader (NVDA on Windows)
- browser zoom to 400%
- a 320-pixel-wide screen
This statement was prepared on 1 October 2026. We'll review it at least once a year and whenever we make significant changes to the sites.
