LandlordLondon: register your rental property by 14 October 2027
If you let a property in London (including all 32 London boroughs and the City of London), the "Register your rental property" service opens for you on 15 July 2027. You must register every let property by 14 October 2027.

Your postcode is sent to postcodes.io (a free public lookup) to find its region. Nothing is stored.

What to get ready now
- Your details: name, date of birth, home address, phone and email (organisations need a Companies House number and a nominated contact)
- For each property: address, ownership type, dwelling type, bedrooms, occupants and households, any HMO or selective licence number, furnishing, rent and frequency, utilities included
- A current gas safety record (if there's gas), EICR and EPC, with their dates. Check they'll still be valid →
- Freeholder or superior landlord and managing agent details, if any
You don't have to wait for the deadline. The government says you can register earlier than required, and if you let in several regions you can register all of your properties together.
